SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
​LIFE SKILLS CENTER:​​
With all the social challenges facing us today, Socialization could be our biggest hurdle. What is Socialization? It is another direction in cognitive- behavioral treatment we offer to assist those that have experienced incarceration; it helps make their transitioning back into society a little easier. Along with Socialization, we also offer Criminal and Addictive Thinking. These resources provide the participants with a new direction in their way of thinking. It also helps navigate their decision-making process and educate them on how to respectfully function in today’s society. It is critical that these issues are insistently challenged and met with the resiliency required so that there will always be a pathway for growth and opportunity.
COUNSELING:
We have professional staff that has over thirty years of experience in working in human services, behavioral modification, addiction dependency and other specific target groups including adolescents. Because of the broad demographic population that has been challenged by their circumstances in life, there is a need for our services. We have witnessed how those who have taken the classes we offer has been enlightened by the education received. This not only empowers the individual in their personal development, it changes their world-view and how to relate better to others.
